PlayOnlinux เป็นโปรแกรมที่ทำให้คุณสามารถติดตั้งเกม และโปรแกรมอื่นที่รันบนวินโดว์ ทำให้สามารถติดตั้งบนลีนุกซ์ได้ เช่นเดียวกันกับโปรแกรม Wine ตัวอย่างนี้จะเป็นการติดตั้ง MS office 2007 โดยใช้ PlayOnLinux บน ubuntu jaunty jackalope
สำหรับการติดตั้ง PlayOnLinux ก็แค่ sudo apt-get install playonlinux
